Ministry of Helps by G. Mosko

You have probably had this desiring feeling to help out in your church but weren't sure if you were supposed to. You want to do your best to serve the Lord but feel like you’re not able to carry out such a task.  Or perhaps you feel as if you don't have the ability to do that job. Just because you don't have a specific gifting doesn't mean you don't have a position in the church waiting for you in your life. There is a spot for everyone to serve the Lord because we are part of the body of Christ.

[1 Corinthians 12:28] "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it"

Not some. Each one. As in everybody! Not just the singers, musicians, teachers, and pastors who are in the ministry. You as an individual help yourself by learning new things to shape your spiritual life.  This gives you the opportunity to give others that information that you have learned just so they could in return do the same to others, building the body of Christ bigger and bigger. If you have a feeling you are called to act on something bigger, the only verifiable way to find the answer is to seek God and wait for the answer. Once you know what that job is go out and act on it!

Everyone, regardless of who they are, is used in some way to build the ministry. Helping shape and build the body of Christ to the correct standards. What are you doing to build up the body of Christ in the ministry of helps?
